Before the big match for @afcbournemouth later an early trip to Sandbanks for some swimming on this gorgeous day. All pitched by 9.30. 50 minute queue for the ferry to Shell Bay already. One of those days I’m even more grateful for our life here ❤️

Good morning Today for me everything that’s happened this week at Southampton FC is hitting home The #SaintsFc fanbase and all associated should be buzzing and on the way to Wembley for a huge day - gutted 😞 Would be nice if the club actually said or did something and gave those amazing fans some hope ? Where is the leadership?!?

This is a very honest reflection of what so many @SouthamptonFC supporters are feeling. Come on #saintsfc, time to roll your sleeves up, take charge and steady the ship...

The FA has confirmed it will start an investigation into Southampton and spy gate #SaintsFc This is where actions against individuals come into play, rather than the club actions that the EFL charged Saints with

@AdamBlackmore The exodus of players and sponsors will start immediately I'd imagine, plus the reputational damage will take years to put right. That old phrase "it takes ages to build a reputation, but seconds to destroy it" has arrived at St Mary's. Still hard to believe all this...

I woke up this morning and thought “the season is over. That’s it.” #SaintsFc And it feels so unsatisfactory and hollow - all those months traipsing up and down the country by fans, players and us for what ?!? I can’t begin to imagine how let down supporters, staff and players must be feeling And I can’t begin to imagine where you start rebuilding and convincing everyone to go again in August. That will happen of course, but a lot needs to happen to make it palatable and something to look forward to - a hell of a lot of The club need Dragan Solak to dig deep again and to reset the culture by making big calls and the right calls

They say that no person is bigger than the club they are at, but the reputational damage by the very people entrusted to run it, there are people at #saintsfc that have put the club at risk. From a lifelong @SouthamptonFC supporter, the day could not be darker. Shameful...

Good morning, although there is nothing good about it from a #SaintsFc perspective There is so much fall-out still to come from this saga and fans are right to be frustrated at the silence from the club However, I'd be surprised if anything is said before the appeal later 1/2

In a lengthy @BBCSport update on Breakfast they rightly congratulate Arsenal, explain the reason due to City’s draw v @afcbournemouth then a report on Chelsea v Spurs & the Southampton spying scandal. Villa etc. Couldn’t even squeeze in that a 127 year old club has qualified for Europe for the first time 🤷🏻

@NRManc Hi Neil. Breached the rules over observing an opponent 72hrs before a match. Sledgehammer to crack a nut, but perhaps more importantly, the reputational damage is immense.

@Andrew_SW I’ve not really been following it Andrew but not sure what they’ve done wrong ? Surely sending a staff member to watch an opponent is pretty standard practice ? Or was it more than that ? Hope you are well

As a lifelong @SouthamptonFC fan. I'm sad, angry, bewildered, in fact, words can't describe what thousands of us, including staff & players are feeling right now. The reputational damage is even worse than the punishment. A dark day... #saintsfc
