@martinglester Interesting that it's crown land where we are, by law, entitled to roam for free.
The cost of the wardens, machines etc etc will, surely outweigh the money received for the upkeep of the car parks and Forest itself?

The 2001 Great Heck crash (also known as Selby) was one of a number of fatal rail accidents around that time. Potters Bar followed in 2002 but thankfully there have been very few bad accidents since.

This weekend, we marked 25 years since the Great Heck rail crash in a poignant memorial service at Selby Abbey. We paid tribute to those involved, alongside family and friends of those involved, first responders, representatives from emergency services, and industry colleagues.

Lovely views of Greenland with the sun sat on the horizon on our way from @HeathrowAirport to @LASairport Las Vegas We were flying so far north we actually generated our own sunrise in the west 😊 (Sorry if that upsets any flat-earthers! 🤣)

My Dad flew this particular aircraft (Vulcan XH558) and other ones like it, during the late 1950s/early 1960s. He was prepared to sacrifice his life in order to defend our great country. The deterrent proved strong enough to protect us. This is why I am so patriotic. 🇬🇧
