A Fitbit with no screen? The Fitbit Air is @Google’s Whoop rival. That’s the whole idea behind the new @Fitbit Air. No apps, no notifications, no tiny display trying to become another smartwatch. It’s a lightweight health tracker that quietly follows your heart rate, sleep, recovery, workouts, and readiness in the background. I’m checking out the Steph Curry Edition, which has the Rye band with orange accents and some subtle Curry details underneath. Would you wear this over a smart watch?

Airbnb is making a very clear move: it doesn’t want to be the app you open once to book a place. It wants to be the app you keep opening throughout the trip. The new 2026 Summer Release adds groceries before arrival, luggage storage, rental cars, airport pickups, boutique hotels, shared itineraries, AI-powered review summaries, and a bigger push into Experiences. Honestly, the fridge-stocked-before-check-in feature might be the one that feels the most immediately useful. Would you want @Airbnb to be your go-to for your whole trip?

Fortnite is back on the Apple App Store as we head into the final battle of Epic v Apple in court. For years, Apple has fragmented iOS features and fees by territory, taking regulatory negotiating positions in secret, and intentionally delaying the pursuit of justice.

My response to this wild clause that was slipped into a contract... "The paid partnership / disclosure restriction also needs to be revised. The SOW currently says I should not include a paid partnership label, but I need full freedom to comply with FTC rules and platform disclosure requirements. I can follow the requested caption/link structure, but nothing in the contract should restrict legally required sponsorship disclosures. To ask this of me is honestly absurd."

My latest video on the changes @asha_shar is making at @Xbox is pulling 47% of watch time from TV. That is wild to me. A few years ago, this kind of video would’ve been dominated by mobile at over 70%. It says a lot about where YouTube is going. People are putting creators on the biggest screen in the house, sitting back, and watching like it’s prime time. For gaming content especially, that feels...perfect. What device do you watch YouTube on the most? 👀

Asha Sharma is making @Xbox feel like Xbox again. Give her credit where it’s due: in just a few weeks, Sharma has started undoing the stuff that made Xbox feel like it was being run by a spreadsheet. Copilot on console? Canceled. Copilot on mobile? Being wound down. “Microsoft Gaming”? Retired. The identity is Xbox again. Even the new boot animation feels intentional, with that glossy green sphere calling back to the era when Xbox had a real pulse. Sharma has also been pushing a broader “return of Xbox” reset internally, focused on fixing the fundamentals for console and PC players. None of this fixes everything overnight, but it does signal something Xbox fans have been waiting to hear: Someone is finally listening. Do you think @Asha_Shar can bring Xbox back?

The top 10 best-selling smartphones in the world during Q1 2026 are... Interesting that iPhone 16 from 2024 is still here, but iPhone Air isn't. Also, while Samsung has multiple spots, none are held by a Galaxy S or Z device.

Nintendo Switch 2 just got pricier. The price is going from $449.99 to $499.99 in the US starting September 1 - but this is happening globally. The culprit isn't tariffs. Instead, the AI industry's RAM appetite has outbid the entire consumer electronics industry for memory. The "RAMpocalypse" could last YEARS! Oh, and the cost of Switch Online goes up July 1 in Japan and Korea, too. @nintendoamerica

Universal thought they owned King Kong. Nintendo’s lawyers said: open a dictionary. This might be the funniest legal defense in gaming history. Nintendo didn’t just argue that Donkey Kong was different. They pulled out dictionary after dictionary to show that “King Kong” had already become slang for size, strength, monsters, and apparently...cheap booze. That matters because trademark law is about preventing consumer confusion, not letting one company own every giant ape forever. The legal strategy was wild. The receipts were even wilder. What’s the most ridiculous courtroom argument you’ve ever heard? @nintendo
