@ahonestmouthful @BBCBreakfast It’s not about getting photographs, they were an innocents bonus. The mission is to test out the spacecraft, the human rated spacecraft and check it can do what it is designed to do.

This has to be the most confusing pronunciation for a town name in the whole of the UK. Can anyone get it right here? (without Googling)

@oc14403627 @NASAArtemis You said you see stars everywhere. You don’t see them in the daytime. As they are in sunlight they cannot see any stars just like you don’t either.

Earthset. The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.

The Moon is around 250,000 miles from Earth. It's so far that you could fit the other seven planets into the space between Earth and the Moon.

@SpaceshipAddict Okay but they recruit Jonathan Archer to serve as the main contact for interacting with the timelines and he gets assistance from the Tabdaran, Colonel Grat who has now been promoted to Rear-Admiral.

My show idea: Star Trek Temporal Investigations. The crew of the USS Relativity(after Braxton was rehabilitated) go on adventures throughout future and history correcting temporal abnormalities and resetting timelines. They could literally visit any timeline or time period!

The Collapsable Contingency Urinal (CCU) now being used on Artemis 2 after a toilet malfunction. Essentially an open container (reusable, sealable, and drainable) that controls the urine-air interface using capillary forces like my Space Cup does coffee. When you are in cislunar space with a broken toilet, you need contingencies and the CCU replaces the need for about 25 pounds of diapers.
