What’s your secret? I’m trying to like sardines. They’re loaded in EPA and DHA and omega-3s are linked with lower triglycerides, anti-inflammatory effects and heart/brain support. Plus there’s calcium, vitamin D, zinc, potassium and iodine. I’m not a squeamish eater at all but I struggle to finish a tin.

@arny_dm Cool man. Thanks for breaking it down. I’m glad I’m doing some things right. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I’ve been getting back into tennis which I’m excited about. Baseball was my sport in college but tennis has always been my #2

@AndyBethel6 Your numbers are actually great. A triglyceride to HDL ratio close to one means your metabolic health is excellent. In our community we do not worry about ApoB when triglycerides are that low. Donating blood was the perfect move for the ferritin

Everyone is terrified that red meat will destroy their cholesterol. Meanwhile, cereal companies slap a big red heart on a box of pure sugar and nobody even blinks. I’ve eaten steak almost every single day for years. My bloodwork is clean. That cereal box has never had to prove a damn thing to anyone. We trust fancy packaging more than we trust our own bloodwork. What “healthy” food do you think would actually fail a real test if someone bothered to run one?

@arny_dm Cool, thanks. Do you think your bloodwork is good due to the diet, the fact that you fast more often or combination? My total cholesterol is 218, LDL 134, ApoB 103, trig 73, HDL 69, Trig/Hdl 1.04, ferritin 350. ApoB & ferritin (just donated blood to reduce) are concerning markers

@AndyBethel6 Check your macros. You want roughly seventy percent fat and thirty percent protein. Most beginners eat too much lean meat. Your body needs animal fat because your hormones are built from cholesterol. That is how you fix low testosterone.

@calleymeans Doesn’t your sister own a wearable device company? Americans are told to buy more wearable tech, which increases insulin responses, and that company then sells their data. Americans should spend that money instead on beef/fish/eggs only + 10x more ☀️ and we’d fix obesity.

This is gaslighting. 80% of Americans are obese or overweight. More than 50% of Americans are prediabetic. These are civilizational-level threatening trends. Americans seeking to gain more information and empowerment over their health is a good thing.

Have a glass. Get some sleep. Stop tracking yourself. The millennial fixation with wearable devices and health optimization is pointless quackery. thefp.com/p/health-obses…

Japan: longest life expectancy on the planet (around 85 years). Plant-based advocates: "See? Rice and vegetables!" Japan's actual diet: Seafood: by far the most consumed animal protein, around 45-50kg per capita annually Pork: the most consumed land meat Chicken: a close second Beef: expensive but eaten regularly, and prized Eggs: among the highest per-capita consumption on Earth, often raw on rice Dashi (fish stock): the base of nearly every savoury dish on the table Roughly half of Japanese protein comes from animal sources. Their longevity gets pinned on the rice. Meanwhile they're eating fish at almost every meal, drowning their vegetables in fish stock, cracking eggs into breakfast, and treating beef like a luxury good worth saving up for. The fish is the meal. The rice is there to mop up the dashi. Acknowledging any of this would mean admitting that the longest-lived population on Earth eats half its protein from animals. And that conclusion doesn't fit the pamphlet. So they point at the rice. Hope nobody asks what's on top of it.

@CoachDanGo Just walk outside or go on a hike. Huffing & puffing on a high emf emitting treadmill with AirPods in, a whoop/Apple Watch on, under florescent flickering lights in a CO2 rich gym, starting at your phone is not biologically sound. It’s doing more harm than you can ever imagine.

@sweatystartup 60% carbs fine for summer but our biology expects lower carbs in spring, fall & winter being lowest. I read the studies about lower methionine intake and it seems like a good option to cycle. Also need to consider high deuterium (bad) in carb heavy diet.

"Eating sugar for breakfast is the WORST thing you can do for your metabolism" Meanwhile, I ate nothing but fruit until noon every day for 3 months and my fasting insulin & glucose were PRISTINE. My midsection fat disappeared. I had unlimited energy & in an incredible mood for 3 months straight. Low carb + intermittent fasting made me dull & fat. If you're not getting the results you want, consider trying fruit till noon

Dads, take ownership over everything. It’s not always your fault, but it’s your responsibility to make sure your family is safe/happy/loved/provided for. Your strength should cover any weakness in your family.

We need to normalize parents telling their teens. If you get pregnant, we’ll raise the baby. You go live your life. Mine will understand that you can’t kill my grandkids. My ancestral line is ancient. Would also create grave spiritual harm. I’ll be glad to raise more kids.

They also get a bonus for grand kids. No shame if an accidental pregnancy happens, that’s life. I’ll take the kid, we will raise the baby. Great. Can’t kill my grandkids, this will be very well understood.

My kids got 529’s maxed out and a rental property to live in and manage. More than enough to keep them off only fans and sugar daddy dating, not enough for them to be “professional daughters” / Coachella girls.
