@geekyranjit I started understanding the real benefits of solar after following your content. Installed 2 × 5.5 kW on-grid systems for my home around 1.3 years ago.
So far, it has generated ~20 MWh in Chennai. I’ve saved more than ₹1.8L on electricity bills.

Good morning, decided to clean my Solar panels today as I noticed a bit of a drop in electricity generation yesterday, let's see by the end of the day how much more electricity generation I get today.
BTW many of you were asking my about the brush I use to clean it's this one amzn.to/47Ms8j2 It can extend and has a water pipe in it, so cleaning is easy.

The post on spike in electricity bill in summer, got a lot of response and many having 2x-4x hike in Summers for electricity.
I want to know what is the max electricity rate per unit that you are paying and your city, coz electricity rates are different in every state.

On an average how much of a spike do you see in your electricity bill in these peak summer seasons. For me it's almost 3x, if my average would be around ₹3k per month its now about close to 8.5 to 9k, but luckily coz of my solar plant able to offset it, as I had exported units during the earlier months. How about you what's your electricity bil normal average VS the average in the summer season.

@geekyranjit In Chennai, TN. We have it slab wise for ever 100 units ( In TN we have a free 100 units ) and also above 1000 units its 11 rupees per unit
