@SimonCalder Hi Simon my 75 year old freind should have flown to Cyprus last week with Wizz Air passport valid from 22 Sep 2012 , valid to 23 Sep 2022. Wizz air denied boarding as only 7 months on passport, is this correct? Thanks in advance for your help . Regards Andy

@AndyConstantin8 Ryanair appears to owe you denied boarding compensation and the cost of the Jet2 flight. I have reminded all the airlines of the actual European law, rather than what they/the UK government pretend it is.

Passport latest British Airways has removed from its website the incorrect assertion “UK citizens need a minimum of 6 months validity on a passport that is less than 10 years old to travel within the EU.” Instead, BA now links to UK government advice – which, sadly, remains wrong

@AlisonT90161728 @SimonCalder I arrived on Saturday,my 1st dose is one of those batches,Portuguese border force checked my vaccination paperwork and my negative test and that was that no questions asked no issues at all.
