@xmac1x @Jessie11512434 @OFalafel Spot on - people arguing that it is not confusing to them, or, that other people should not be confused, are missing the point. Some people do get confused, a better design could reduce this - what that better design is should be determined through user testing.

@AndyDesignRes I mean now you've got to define what is a workshop, if not a chat spread over at least an hour, with structured activities...

Had confirmation today that I'll be joining the design strategy team @CoopDigital next month. It's been an amazing 7+ years @PDR_online after starting as an intern and working with lots of very clever and kind people! Sad to leave a great team, but excited for new challenges.

@Alistairuff ‘I don’t disagree’ is rarely a complete sentence (in my experience). More usual would be ‘I don’t disagree, but...’ Usually indicative of agreement in principle with another’s statement, but considering that there may be conditions where the statement is not entirely agreeable.

I mean it's a bit of a foregone conclusion, the replies are pretty unanimous. But still, English language is weird because it seems to me saying "I do not agree" or putting 'not' in front of any 'positive' word is essentially the same construction as "I don't disagree".
Jared Spool@jmspool

Do you think there’s a difference between “I don’t disagree” and “I agree”? If there’s no difference, why not say “I agree” which is what you meant in the first place? Unless you’re using it to mean that you actually don’t agree, but don’t want to say that.
