Irish Ultras groups have come together and formed a platform to halt the Nations League match between Ireland and Israel. The alliance, which many groups joined in a short time, stated: “We are the lifeblood of Irish football and we will not stand by while a match involving the team of a nation that has carried out a genocide against more than 70,000 innocent people is played.”

The FAI has offered its full and unequivocal support to Ukraine’s FA and confirmed that no Irish team will play against Russia at any level until further notice In a show of solidarity, @AVIVAStadium will be lit up in the colours of the Ukrainian flag at 7pm tonight
