@KayBurley I think this is a fanciful interpretation. European football’s reputation was enhanced on terrestrial tv and arguably propelled the Champions League into what it is today. ‘Pay TV’ has raised the drawbridge on greater reach. I think you’re also eschewing the cultural impact.
