@9798Nikolai Sorry, unclear. The early version with DL, DC, DR and DMC at the back, with back arrows on the DL, DR, DMC. AML, AMC, AMR, SC, SC. Seems to struggle against the game's 532 attacking.

After a whole year out of the team, and only playing 9 times before that, Lee Trundle wanted to go to a bigger club. That got me thinking, his rep must've increased somehow. So I decided to play him, hoping he can boost the team. It has.

@9798Nikolai I've been using this tactic for two seasons on a Millwall save. It's excellent, but it seems to struggle against 532 formations on my save. Could be coincidence, have you seen this?

And just like that, we're getting thrashed like last year. Despite even probably deserving to win. Record defeat.

That's a wrap on our latest RED-S + metabolomics screening study. Here we will compare the utility of dried blood spots and urine profiling in the RED-S work up. Many thanks to @NMFCWomens and Captainer for their support. A top notch team all round to work with! @LaTrobe_SPAN

This is truly how science can be collaborative rather than combative. The reviewers helped (and challenged) the authors about the rationale and method, at a time when those aspects of the study could be modified (i.e. prior to data collection).

Today I pushed the Registered Report 'Accept in Principle' button for the 2nd time @JSportsSci. Following 2 rounds of review, the authors can now start data collection. The review process improved the rigour of the study, so thanks to the reviewers for their time and expertise 👏

📢 In an earlier tutorial, I showed how to generate Al-hosted podcasts on any topic using NotebookLM. The latest update now lets you enter prompts to personalise the podcasts to suit your needs. Here's an example where asked for a deep dive on research methodology.👇

@jem_arnold @MedBonnevie @peter__leo Umm we aren’t exactly sitting on the data 😅 If we combined a number of different data sets I would imagine we would be able to pull something out however time and ethical approval to use the data in this way are not on our side!

I would be very curious to hear if any coaches out there sit on longitudial lab data measuring fractional utilisation of VO2 max on submax intensities - and how/what training has helped improve it (even if very basic traditional stuff). Anyone got data on this?
Martin BS@MedBonnevie

An interesting finding from the recent paper by @ingvillodden et al. is that intervals most would label "short HIIT", "over/under" and "threshold" intervals all seemed to produce comparable oxygen consumption. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39385317/
