No Tuition Breaks for Illegal Aliens! SB-1633, making in-state tuition, scholarships, and financial aid available only to U.S. citizens, just passed the State Senate. This is a smart move to bring Oklahoma law into compliance with federal law. Oklahoma taxpayers pour billions into our colleges and universities. Special benefits should go only to the students and families who are here legally. I’m running for Governor with a conservative plan for Oklahoma. And no financial plan for our state’s future includes spending tax dollars on people who shouldn’t even be in the country. More importantly, our schools should protect and promote the values of the taxpayers who make the education system possible. SB-1633 protects taxpayers, restores fairness, and reduces incentives for illegal immigration. I’m optimistic this bill will pass the House and will be signed into law. If not, I will make it a top priority in my first year as Governor.

REFINERY REVIVAL: President Trump announced that America First Refining will open the first new U.S. oil refinery in nearly half a century in Brownsville, Texas. Trump touted the $300 billion deal as a "A MASSIVE WIN for American Workers" as the company said the project will create thousands of construction and permanent jobs.
