It’s hard for me to believe these Pistons can go very far this postseason as crazy as that may sound. Their offense just doesn’t look reliable at all. It looks like the 2020-21 Magic at times. They have the defense to hang in there most games but you still have to score…and while I could see that for a series or two… I just don’t see it holding up & doing it 4 games in each series all the way to the Finals. Cade would have to be otherworldly.

Honestly, being only 6 wins behind the #2 seed with Franz having missed THIRTY-EIGHT games & Suggs missing 23 games is actually pretty solid. Is Franz worth 6 wins alone? I’ll let you answer that. Before you do, look at all the other playoff contenders and tell me how they’d fair with their 2nd highest PPG scorer & top overall defender (when accounting for versatility/switchability) missing 38 games. It’s not exactly a 1:1 but for the sake of argument, what would the Knicks record be if KAT missed 38 and Josh Hart missed 23 & many of those games were missed concurrently? Not for nothing, but Paolo also missed 10, and AB is up to 6. Suffice to say, this team has endured a lot, and they’re still here, they’re still in the mix. The fact remains, we still don’t know the potential or ceiling of this team. And even had they all remained healthy, we’d still only have seen the first of 4 years with Paolo/Franz/Bane/Suggs all locked up together. There’s not one team in the East that wants to draw a healthy Orlando matchup in the playoffs. One of their fans might tell you otherwise, don’t believe it for a second. Whether we actually get to see a healthy Orlando team remains to be seen (maybe sit our core vs Lu Dort to improve our odds 😂).
