@n2403197218 The trick with Irish racing is to hold off on putting a bet down until the "off". If the betting market turns against you late, it's worth just taking a small loss. I got walloped at Dundalk the other day amidst a late flurry in betting...

I still console myself that Greenland won’t be invaded, Trump has said. But I’m worried about Iceland, which Trump mentioned several times. And it’s not clear he knows the difference.

@RacingWhat It's a fact that the coal clouds follow the Chinese ships all the way to British / European ports when our Amazon orders get fulfilled. However the clouds do not enter our waters. I asked an energy expert about this, and apparently they don't like fat women.

Did you know that CO2 emissions in China, from them using coal to produce their steel we buy, stay directly above China? They float there. Only China suffers whereas we have no CO2 issues because we don’t burn coal. Pollution also stays inside a giant dome over China too. Also, the ships that we will now have to use to bring steel from China that we used to make at Port Talbot will cut their engines just before entering British waters so they have no carbon footprint and the rest of the journey doesn't count. The Captains are highly skilled.

This shows how hard it is. SD made a profit of 8.75% on turnover so you’d need £500 on each selection to replace the average wage, which is difficult to get on. Barney once said that no one can beat 10% ROI, so SD is very good. Over 8 accounts (7 exchange) TP’s ROI is over 30%.

@racingoncourse @RacesNow_ It's basically lazy betting. I got as far as it might win and then I couldn't make up my mind probably because of fear of missing out so I hedged my bets and punted e/w. Fearless punters don't bet e/w. My point.

@stestaAtoB @333peterobinson Sadly, this is true. I encourage folk to go and enjoy a day's racing. But if you're backing/laying for profit/income, then you'll generally be better off on the machine.
