When you read this & then have a trawl through Tattersalls accounts published yesterday, it is hard not to think that they're not putting anywhere near enough back into the sport.

Suggested line. Horses can’t go out and turn in tight and hit the apex like in motor racing at this juncture in a race as if someone appeared on your inside you would have allow them space. They would then carry you wide after the bend.

No wonder the bend before 2 out on the Chase course was riding tight, virtually a 90 degree turn. Surely the rails should cut the corner more to allow a much smoother turn?

Had to have a few quid on Midnights Dream at 50s in the 19:00. Weird price given Mitchell is back on, and I'd say it's a fair bet it's going to run a big race today. You'd have to think the two runs for Parr are so far are non trying, definitely last time, as I find it hard

Going for the hat trick in this race. James Doyle 5/5 on the horse, well beaten in both races prior to the 2024 and 2025 race, both in December, and well beaten this year in January. Exact same prep, and the entries aren't great for this one. Should be 3/3
