@bobbytomncfc Outperforming your budget is fine if you are competing against bigger teams…we’re not. We are the biggest club in the division and it’s about time the owners respected that and gave the head coach a budget and squad that matches that status.

The morning after thoughts: - Cambridge deserved everything they got. Set up well, organised and wanted it more - promotion wasnt lost yesterday. If we dont go up it’s down the multiple games where we lost points by playing that way in 1 half - MP is overachieving with this team

Totally agree with this. Reality is that we’ve been told for last 3 years that we have ‘edge of playoffs budget’ and we then get edge of playoff outcomes. Data model therefore no better than any other teams.
