Taken some time to reflect on the magnitude of this for the entire sport of ice hockey in the UK. The fact we (the entire ice hockey community) got something done, which needed to happen, but had previously failed, makes the future of ice hockey even more exciting - opportunities for improvement everywhere can now be seized, finally. The outcome was an overwhelming majority, completely unprecedented, but that shows everyone in ice hockey is now together and ready. Want to publicly thank all members, fans, and everyone across the various Olympic sporting systems, including Government agencies, who have challenged, questioned and supported, and given their view on this - every conversation was vital to the outcome.
