@b82839 @MoreMorganMoore But yours somehow wasn’t childish and you were so not mad you kept responding lol To each his own, I find a lack of self-awareness very funny.

Ian Miles Cheong is Malaysian and has publicly identified as such, expressing pride in his nationality in interviews. However, reports from sources like Times of India and Rice Media state he lives in Ipoh, Malaysia, and has never visited the US. In his X posts, he denies living in Malaysia, claiming residence in Dubai, and rejects accusations of posing as a Westerner.

@mrsunshinebaby Two more no’s would have tied it and the speaker would cast the tie-breaker, which traditionally favours keeping the government going.

I should note the Liberal MP is the Speaker, who only votes in a tie. The two abstentions on each side put this over but also wouldn’t have defeated the government on their own. If you do not support the Liberals, you can choose who you blame!

It feels like we’re living in a post-truth world. Facts don’t matter, volume does. Say anything loudly enough and people treat it as reality. And honestly… sometimes I wonder if I’m the only one who sees how insane that is.

Just a reminder to the manager of the Bot Farm that the late great Jim Flaherty would come on to talk budget as well. And Pierre is always welcome to barge in. But thanks for all the great comments from pictures of trucks with 3 followers.

Two NEW stories about Didulo and her cult tonight: Story 1: Romana Didulo Applies to Remove Release Conditions (links in second tweet) Interesting take aways: She's trying to make legal moves but without legal counsel she does not know what is she is doing and the judge told her so. She is also claiming mistaken identity. "Didulo argued she had evidence and affidavits on a USB drive to prove the failure to comply charge was actually a case of mistaken identity." I am most interested in this mistaken identity claim. That has got to be wild. I hope we can learn more. She tried to submit affidavits and possibly have cult members speak on her behalf but the judge was not having it. "The judge pointed out it was the most complicated type of trial and again urged Didulo to seek legal counsel. The self-proclaimed Queen left the court surrounded by her supporters in a group of three vehicles." She'll be back in court December 16th at 11:00 am in Swift Current. Story 2: ‘Fear Lingers in the Town’: Richmound Residents Call for Support After Cult Occupation Richmound continues to suffer trauma and costs months after Romana Didulo and cult were evicted from an abandoned school. Two residents joined Saskatchewan NDP at the legislature to demand provincial aid for legal fees, infrastructure, staffing (after resignations due to threats/harassment), and cleanup. NDP MLA Brittany Senger accused the Sask. Party government of abandoning the village despite death threats, child fears, and business/resident exodus. Government ministers (Eric Schmalz, Tim McLeod) said they've engaged 60+ times, expanded SCAN legislation/officers, and allow cost recovery from property owners. Residents report lingering division, fear of return, and unfilled jobs; one said healing may never occur. Scott Moe mentioned the idea that Ricky Manz should be paying at least in part.

Anti-vax sentiment at an all-time high among Canadians across the country. Certain governments block doctors from urging vaccination. Political leaders broadcast skepticism about vaccines. Idiots online: IT'S THE GODDAMN IMMIGRANTS!!!
Sharif Haji@SharifHajiMLA

I spoke with the Edmonton Journal about Canada losing its measles elimination status — the only G7 country to do so. 40% of outbreaks are in Alberta, where the UCP blocked its top doctor from urging vaccines. Politics should never come before public health.
