🚨HORRIFYING🚨 Jurors will listen to the audio of 7-year-old Athena Strand being strangled to death by FedEx driver Tanner Horner. Horner pleaded guilty to capital murder, but a juror will decide if he should be sentenced to death. Strand told the child, “Don't scream or I'll hurt you,” as he picked her up and put her in his truck. The child tried to fight Strand off during the attack—his DNA was found under her nails. Prosecutors added that his DNA was found, “in places where you shouldn't find DNA on a 7-year-old girl.” The girl’s mother is for the death penalty being implemented.

No you don’t get it when Trump says “a whole civilization will die tonight” he is being hyperbolic and posturing unlike when Iran says “death to America” which is actually a very serious threat and should definitely serve as the basis for an invasion

@ClayTravis So we now live in a world where we are not supposed to take the President of the United States seriously, and in fact not take him at his world at all.

Donald Trump has made hyperbolic comments as part of negotiation tactics for a full decade, especially on social media, and yet people still run around like insane people reacting to his posts on here. I truly don’t get it.

Isn't Congress supposed to approve when the Pentagon chooses to wipe out a civilization? Or, is that not defined as war?

Who else thinks the FA Cup semi-finals shouldn't be at Wembley? They should be played at neutral grounds like Old Trafford, Anfield, Villa Park, or St James' Park, leaving the final as a Wembley exclusive!

@AndyRoo79 @sarahadams The Iranians are beyond thrilled we're there- a small percentage who profit from working for the oppressor/oil thief class are upset, true- but the majority of Iranians are absolutely thrilled we're doing the job we should've done decades ago.

We’re seeing reports that one crew member has been recovered, while efforts are still underway to locate the second after a U.S. F-15 went down over southern Iran. We’ve seen this before. In 2011, when a U.S. pilot went down in Libya during Operation Odyssey Dawn, ordinary Libyans stepped in. Good people risked everything to protect him from militias and get him to safety. No politics, no agenda just doing the right thing. That’s the reminder today even in the worst circumstances there are still good people. If that pilot is on the ground in Iran, let’s hope their first contact was with ordinary Iranians, people who’ve lived under this terrorist regime and largely reject it. They’ll make the right choice. Praying for that and always for our troops and the people of Iran.

Morally I have a severe problem with this. I don’t think we are the “good guys” anymore. We’ve gone full rogue. The events I’m watching are things that I never thought I’d see us ever do to anyone. It’s really disturbing

Little reminder: After Germany blew up their nuclear power plant cooling towers, last year they blew up one of their biggest coal power plants. Right in time for the biggest energy crisis in history to hit… The coal plant was: - Only 6 years old - Cost €3 billion - Produced 1,650 MW Germany is doing everything in its power to create a perpetual energy crisis.

@JamesMelville By this standard, Germany defeated Britain in 1940 and violence over the next 5 years was because Britain refused to understand it had already been defeated.

@Capt_Fishpaste Sounds like SAFC are more like Reform than you think, what with them having a Muslim chairman and all. Do you have any examples of Farage making derogatory comments about other races of faiths by the way? (He still shouldn't be allowed to use the club for politics).

For me, #SAFC are a beacon for what cultural, racial, and religious diversity can achieve and inspire. A white devout Muslim partnering with a black devout Christian to produce the best midfield partnership we've seen at the club in generations ❤️🤍❤️ The very antithesis of what Farage preaches.

Bye bye @SunderlandAFC I'm extremely upset about this but I will NOT support a team that endorses racism. Farage's views are utterly abhorrent & the opposite of all the work done for years throughout the sport to eradicate discrimination @kickitout @frlydensmith @Kevin_Maguire

This is exactly the right take. Politics is divisive by nature, keep it away from our club. That includes the self-appointed spokespeople claiming Sunderland are some sort of left wing or socialist club and that right wing people aren't welcome - this is itself divisive and exclusionary.

To be clear: I don't think @SunderlandAFC should be platforming any politician of any party. At Wembley you weren't asking people's politics before you celebrated with them. The club brings people together, unifies us in common cause. It MUST be allowed to remain that way.
Dean Hayes@HayesDean7246

@Capt_Fishpaste @SunderlandAFC Lots of quite left wing SAFC accounts have suddenly become very political over this football club, hows about we kick all politics out of football ? Including there's ? If only they would STFU, but we all know they would wang themselves silly if Ang Rayner rocked up.

Disgraceful and distasteful from a director (@JuanSartoriUY) who’s clearly barely spent any actual time in the region to know this is a massive slap in the face. A socialist and trade union football club being used to peddle some political bullshit is shameful. Reconsider.
