Starting to put together my longlist for the annual worst Premiership signings blog. Which of your team's players should be on my radar?

Good to see 11 competitive teams in the league this season all taking points of the top teams. Oh and we were there too.

@AngusDuff123 It actually wouldn’t surprise me if we done a Ross County, club stinks from top to bottom, badly need change at the top and a complete overhaul in the dugout and on the pitch but none of that is gonna happen. Some of the players we have under contract for next season is scary bad

@AndySemple1990 Exactly our problem at start of season. We speculated where we'd finish in the Championship as never looked like winning. You'll come straight back up from Championship given new owner and a budget etc.

Stopped caring months ago, hopefully a huge clear out coming starting with the person who recruited all these players in the first place. Won’t hold my breath.

@SPFLWatch They should just wave the rights to our two games, fans gave up months ago, appears the players got to that point today.

Premier Sports confirming that they will be showing three matches post-split in the bottom six. Presumably given their selections are still restricted by the two per ground rule, it would mean two selections at Livingston and one at Tannadice (presumably the final Derby)

@AngusDuff123 We’ve had spells throughout the season of being ok but we completely lack any kind of quality, we have looked like a lower league team playing prem all season, being ok, competing in spells but just not being good enough. Recruitment has been key to the abject failure.

@AndySemple1990 You remind me of Killie under Kettlewell. Played well today for 25 mins second half, but that can't win games of football.

@Browning84Greg Not so sure, the aim would’ve been to come straight back up either by winning the league or via the playoffs. The recruitment by our dictator killed us, players that weren’t good enough to get into our champ team have been starting games. Utterly bizarre scattergun approach.

@Browning84Greg A lot? That’s an understatement, then add more on in January and it’s like an old persons home. Bizarre recruitment from start to finish and an embarrassing effort at staying in the league.

It will be wild if Hearts win the Premiership, given we've not had a winner outside Glasgow in over 40 years. It will be wild if Rangers win the Premiership, given they only won 1 of their opening 7 games of the season and they have only won 53% of their league games to date with just 8 left to play. It will be wild if Celtic win the Premiership, given they've lost 7 times already this season, have changed manager 3 times, and had two utter clusterfuck transfer windows. It will be wild if Celtic land the double, given all of the above and the fact they won a quarter final despite not registering a single shot on target. It will be wild if St.Mirren win a major trophy, or even two, but still manage to get themselves relegated. It will be wild that Steven Pressley has outlasted the manager of Celtic (twice), Rangers, Aberdeen, St.Mirren, Kilmarnock and Livingston this season. It's wild that with 8 games to play Motherwell have the best defensive record in the Premiership and have lost the same number of games as the league leaders. It's wild that 3 of Hearts 5 defeats this season have come against the teams currently sitting 9th, 10th and 11th in the league. It's wild that Livingston won their 2nd game of the season and in the middle of March, 28 games later, they are still waiting on their next victory. It's Scottish football. And it is indeed, wild.

I mean I’d given up probably 2 month ago, but that’s a sore one after a fairly decent point for us today, Hearts stinking out Kilmarnock tonight. Dreadful.

Livi are going to draw every game from now to the end of the season and somehow stay up by a point

Seriously though, it’s nice to see us finally showing a wee bit of grit and determination, still think it’s too little too late and we are still without a win in god knows how long but definite positives over the last few games.

@BhoyinRed Maybe a bit out there, but we could create a league that sporting merit is rewarded? like let’s say the top team gets promoted for being good and the bottom team in the league gets relegated for being poor, maybe we could add some playoffs to add to the excitement? Thoughts?

Get them in the Premiership. Clubs like Dunfermline, Falkirk, and Thistle have so much more to offer the league than shite like Livingston.
