@Jamie_Keech @WestJet Still here…. Day 3. This is my first time taking a trip using “WestJet Vacations”... In my opinion the worst move was stringing along the group with successive cancellations-Day 2-until 1am, then cancelling that last flight, then telling flight to book their own hotels! Wild.

I’ve flown airlines from nearly every continent and have long suspected @WestJet is one of the worst run airlines on the planet. This suspicion was affirmed yesterday. @WestJet simultaneously cancelled 4 flights out of the Cancun airport at midnight. They told us not to worry, they had booked us hotels, transportation and flights the next morning. But when we got through security it turns out there was nothing. No staff. No info. No plan. Instead of hotels you left hundreds of families stranded - forced to sleep on the floor. Children crying. Holiday plans ruined. I fortunately woke up this morning (on the floor) and remembered @WestJet is trash and run by imbeciles so I immediately booked another airline home. Which, it turns out, was the right move because you just cancelled my flight (and many others) AGAIN. Leaving ppl stranded for 2 days and counting… The reason given? Staffing issues. You suck WestJet I pray that Canada someday has a competitive airline industry and you are put out of your misery. The world will be a better place. Screw you, Jamie
