I bought $AIR on 28th Jan: ✅good rally since last base (+25%) ✅surfing around the EMA10 ✅pushed off the EMA10 and went up, when the market was choppy ✅I put my STOP to breakeven and trailed everything with a 2x ADR It came to limit order earlier then I thought and it held well in this Market Phase. I keep it and will add if there is a constructive base @n_bancroft2

Since 2024 I recorded every trade in an Excel sheet. The Data of two years showed me a hit rate of 28,8%. Couldnt believe it. It showed me I am in the right way. But aswell, it showed me I didnt hold winners Long enough. So I realized my system works if I hold longer and I calmed down the "Reflex" of taking a Winner to Zero😊👍 It is work to maintain the numbers, but it helps to improve. I also got my numbers into ChatGPT to rebuild my system to R-Risk Not €-Risk. Thats what my numbers told me too. "Keep improving yourself" is the most important thing Ive learned 😊

I love telling the story at my first Master Trader Program with Mark Minervini. He asks for a show of hands, how many people know their avg gain, avg loss and win %? Less than 10 guys out of a room of ~120 raise their hand. I would guess around 5% of traders actually record their trades and pre-define their risk. Out of those 5%, probably less than half really dig into their numbers and try to improve. And yes, the % of traders that survive/out perform the market over a decent length of time is around 1%.

It’s not just about spotting a "setup"... for me, it’s about understanding the behavior of buyers and sellers at each phase, where momentum is building, and where it might stall. When I analyze a stock through this lens, I’m looking for patterns in the accumulation and distribution phases, the transition points between Stage 1 and Stage 2, and how volume interacts with major pivots/MAs. For example, I want to see higher lows, consistent demand at support pivots, and a structured push n' pull between buyers and sellers. because these small cues help me define risk precisely and avoid chasing setups that look “perfect” on the surface but lack evidence of institutional participation! ...and when I've ignored this framework in the past, I've noticed that it always leads to costly mistakes. Early in my trading journey, I would enter purely based on visual patterns without understanding the context of the stock’s behavior. Sometimes that worked, but often it led to whipsaws or trades that never really aligned with the market’s momentum... BUT once I started overlaying the "Cycle of Price Action" on my analysis, I could anticipate how a stock would behave after consolidation or a breakout, which allowed me to plan entries, trims, and stops with more conviction. I like to think of it as PRICE & Volume is the story... and @OliverKell_'s cycle is the plot! I’ve attached two graphics to help visualize what I’m referring to:

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that a huge part of how I interpret price comes from @OliverKell_ “The Cycle of Price Action.” I’ve found that understanding where a stock is within its cycle gives me context for everything I do... including entries, risk management, and sizing. and rght now, two names that stand out to me are $PLTR and $COIN. Both are in what I’d call the “EMA Crossback” phase, meaning after a prior downtrend, buyers have built a base and pushed price back above the EMAs. What I love about this phase is that it highlights a change in character. You can see the stock absorbing selling, establishing higher lows, and respecting support at major pivots. On both $PLTR and $COIN, volume patterns show buyers actively defending these levels, which to me signals healthy accumulation off the lows. This isn’t just theory... these are the subtle cues I’ve learned to spot through years of watching how price behaves in similar phases, and they tell me where the risk/reward is skewed in my favor. I’m watching these names closely because they sit at multiple layers of probability: tight structure, institutional accumulation, and alignment with the overall environment. The key takeaway for me is that price and volume leave breadcrumbs if you know where to look... and recognizing these EMA Crossback setups allows me to enter with defined risk, manage my exposure, and let the market do the work! I’m not predicting the next rocket, I’m aligning with the evidence in front of me, managing my risk and that’s what keeps me consistent... $PLTR and $COIN are both on watch for me:

Stop trading full size. In a bull market, you can be aggressive. In a bear market, every position you take has the wind against it. If you're still sizing the same way you did in 2023, you're taking on risk that the market isn't rewarding right now. Smaller size. Fewer trades. That's it.

The Indian market has been in a downtrend for over a year and a half. Most traders have given back everything they made in the bull run - and then some. Here is how you survive a bear market as a swing trader. And how you come out of it ready. A thread 👇

I switched my Risk management from calculation in currency (€) to 1R-style. It feels the right way and I should have done this earlier, but is it really THE Game changer? My Edge is there, based on my data from 2025 till today. how are your Experiences about that? @CFlanders7 @n_bancroft2 @Maifeldtrading ?
