As of this morning, I have 31 major abdominal cases (many of which are non obstructing cancers) on hold until we have beds open.

This is my “go to” anastomosis between the colon and rectum. Double purse string, single stapled. Dr. Stanley Goldberg taught me @UMNSurgery. No crossing staple lines. No dog ears. Works at top of rectum after sigmoid colectomy and low in the rectum with #tatme.
