After a long period of time, and a LOT of work, we've finally had approval for the new AIM curriculum from the GMC. Here's a thread to illustrate some of the changes and (hopefully) highlights.
Thanks to all involved in getting here. @nickscr1 @NHSmallwood and all the AIM SAC.

Instead of taking our healthy baby home we had to read Harriet her last story and said goodbye forever. That feeling will never leave me.

@Jopo_dr And one things trials do often show is what we think we know from data extrapolation or what “should work” physiologically is often proved not to be the case.
English

@Jopo_dr Agree concern of comparative physiology & educational understanding. Some of these intervention used daily for pregnant women outside of trials, and we don’t know if that difference in physiology will respond favourably or adversely. We will have to treat on data extrapolation
English

#CCR22 #Rephilltrial pregnancy is a common exclusion criteria, it is often understandable, but not always. Does a reflexive exclusion cause harm, are we denuding the evidence base to inform and improve treatment decisions during pregnancy.
