The abuse resulted in 7 pregnancies, and each time Wiley allegedly took the minor to abortion clinics for abortions. According to the victim’s statements to police, none of the clinics reported the suspected child sexual abuse to authorities, despite laws requiring it when a minor is pregnant. The victim only came forward years later (now in her early 20s) after Wiley allegedly began inappropriate contact with her own 7-year-old daughter. This is a disgusting example of how abortion facilities have been accused of covering up child rape and statutory abuse instead of protecting victims. Where was the mandatory reporting? How many other cases slip through because clinics prioritize “privacy” or procedure volume over child safety? This should be a wake-up call for stronger enforcement of reporting laws and real accountability. Prayers for the victim and her family. Justice was delayed — but at least it came.
