@EdwardJDavey There are mosques everywhere, why should it be accepted that this be the norm? I actually find it offensive and intimidating given it's largely male only, plus how is it not a show of dominance given other cultures not requiring to pray in public? People like you are the problem

Imagine seeing British people at prayer and thinking “this is a great chance to stoke fear, hatred and division”. People who do that should have no place in British politics.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Responses like this only add to the confusion I feel with this season.
A lot (not all) of what he says is right. But we were sold much bigger dreams. Aims changed privately but not publicly.
Are we judging this season against public aims or simply progression?

@TheHappyAbode @AGrueller Concern is the Iwata thing only worked before our system was found out, teams now target Iwata or that side as he is a liability defensively, Laird our best option but injury prone, Bright switches off and not got the engine to play way CD wants so need a new face in the summer

Laird has stacks of historical injury issues so we needed a RB in the summer.
BOS has struggled for form and went to AFCON whilst Laird was still injured.
Our best run of the season then came with Iwata at RB.
Absolute nonsense.

Things which fucking blow my mind about Chris Davies - Day 1
Has a competent right back (Laird) but chooses to play our 4th choice midfielder as a right back. Then signs another right back from Turkey whose played in the champions League. Benches that right back too.

Being honest, neither keeper has a history of being a decent shot stopper. Both have had moments. Allsop had the best season of his career last season but finding a proper shot stopper in the summer has to be high on the priority list
