Please retweet, I no longer believe it should be everyones right to own a pet. We have seen too much cruelty and abandonment in the UK. I'd just ask that anyone who buys a puppy or kitten always sees mum to check welfare. In the UK, it is law that you should be able to see mum and that a puppy or kitten can only be sold from where he/she was bred. By law all puppies must be initially chipped by the breeder, then the new owner needs to go into the data base the breeder used and change the pup's details to his own. This also applies to kittens in England . Any breeder selling without a chip should be avoided, they are prepared to break the law for a sale. If anyone is not happy with a breeder, or offered a pup with no chip, please contact your local council's licensing department. Pass on any screen shots or evidence you have. Most of the social media platforms, including facebook have band the sales of pets. Below, Pearl, used for breeding and then abandoned by the breeder. Her pups were not with her. UK 2025.
