As students of knowledge, teachers & callers, returning to people of knowledge for advice & guidance, seeking their assistance in resolving issues of conflict is essential. They have not changed or deviated; they are upright, capable & concerned scholars & Allah knows them best.

[فتلك تمام أضحيتك عند الله عز وجل] عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رضي الله عنهماأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلى الله عَلَيه وسَلم قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: "أُمِرْتُ بِيَوْمِ الأَضْحَى عِيدًا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ لِهَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ"، فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ لَمْ أَجِدْ إِلَاّ مَنِيحَةَ أُنْثَى، أَفَأُضَحِّي بِهَا؟ قَالَ: "لَا، وَلَكِنْ تَأْخُذُ مِنْ شَعْرِكَ، وَتُقَلِّمُ أَظْفَارَكَ، وَتَحْلِقُ عَانَتَكَ، وَتَقُصُّ شَارِبَكَ، فَذَلِكَ ‌تَمَامُ ‌أُضْحِيَتِكَ عِنْدَ اللهِ" (حسن) أحمد ٦٥٧٥ أبو داود ٢٧٨٩ النسائي ٤٣٦٥

[هل تدري ما الظلمات يوم القيامة] عَنْ جَرِيرٍ رضي الله عنه قَال: نَزَلْنَا الصِّفَاحَ فَإِذَا نَحْنُ بِرَجُلٍ نَائِمٍ فِي ظِلِّ شَجَرَةٍ قَدْ كَادَتِ الشَّمْسُ تَبْلُغُهُ، قَالَ: فَقُلْتُ لِلْغُلَامِ : انْطَلِقْ بِهَذَا النِّطْعِ فَأَظِلَّهُ ، قَالَ : فَأَظَلَّهُ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَيْقَظَ إِذَا هُوَ سَلْمَانُ، قَالَ : فَأَتَيْتُهُ أُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ، قَالَ: فَقَالَ: يَا جَرِيرُ، تَوَاضَعْ لِلَّهِ , فَإِنَّ مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ لِلَّهِ رَفَعَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، يَا جَرِيرُ، هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا الظُّلُمَاتُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ قَالَ: قُلْتُ : لَا أَدْرِي. قَالَ: ظُلْمُ النَّاسِ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا. ثُمَّ أَخَذَ عُودًا لَا أَكَادُ أَرَاهُ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ، فَقَال: يَا جَرِيرُ، لَوْ طَلَبْتَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مِثْلَ هَذَا الْعُودِ لَمْ تَجِدْهُ. قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؟ أَيْنَ النَّخْلُ وَالشَّجَرُ؟ فَقَالَ: أُصُولُهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالذَّهَبُ وَأَعْلَاهُ الثَّمَرُ. (صحيح) الزهد لهناد (٩٨). ابن أبي شيبة (٣٣٩٧٥). البعث والنشور للبيهقي (٢٧٨).

Consider carefully the following: Regarding an ignorant & childish youtuber, one labeled an arrogant liar (specifically, by name) by a qualified scholar, one who gathers an audience with outlandish statements of blatant disrespect for the ummah of Sunnah & its scholars & principles: Could you be contributing to his popularity & enabling him further by mentioning his name & account, directing even more attention to him? Are liars debated & engaged, or warned against and sidelined? Is it not clear & apparent from his character that he enjoys the attention, even the "negative" popularity? Don't these types of thirsty people say: "Any press is good press..." "There is no such thing as bad publicity..." "As long as they spell my name right..." In continuing to engage him after an actual qualified scholar has exposed him by name as a liar, could we now be downplaying the significance of the scholars' warnings & involvement in matters? My advice: Wash your hands of his filth, be done with him, & do not contribute to ongoing controversy surrounding him. & Allah knows best.

[2/2] Fifthly: As for those who have engaged in this type of speech, or any form or degree of defense for Amjad, whether in writing or verbally, or it has been attributed to them that they defended him privately, or their previous material is being used to suggest that they continue to defend him after he has been warned against by the scholars, then no doubt such a person must clarify and retract from his defense. There is no choice in this. However, if he has not defended him after the scholars warned against him, then there is nothing upon him, as clarified by our noble S͟hayk͟h ʿAbdullah Al-Buk͟hārī (ḥafiẓahullāh). [1/2] Doubt: Overlooking a Caller’s Mistakes Due to His Many Years in Daʿwah The following question was posed by brothers in the USA, who requested me to present it to one of the Mashāyikh on their behalf. Accordingly, I presented it to our noble S͟hayk͟h @Arafatbinhassan Al-Muḥammadī (ḥafiẓahullāh), who asked me to respond to it and then present the response to him. After writing my response, I presented it to him, and he permitted it to be shared. Question: There has arisen in defense of Abū ʿIyāḍ something new to the Daʿwah as it relates to his mistakes, and it is that they should be overlooked because he’s been in the arena of Daʿwah for thirty years. And that we should not take a S͟hayk͟h's speech against him based on mistranslation present to him. Is this speech correct? And for those that have said this publicly and on videos do they have to retract from this publicly? bārak-Allāhu fīkum! Answer: In the name of Allāh, may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allāh. To proceed: Firstly: The mistakes and deviations of the one called Abū ʿIyāḍ Amjad Rafīq are established from his own writings and recordings, and they have been thoroughly refuted by the scholars and students alike. Furthermore, he has on several occasions, even if disingenuously and partially, accepted them himself, but unfortunately has backtracked an equal number of times, if not more. Secondly: This speech does not emanate from someone grounded in knowledge. Rather, it shows his ignorance or misplaced loyalty towards Amjad. To overlook an individual’s mistakes or deviations merely on the basis of his lengthy tenure in service to the Daʿwah is baseless, and no one from the people of knowledge says this. This is an ignorant statement. Rather, what is established is that anyone who errs, his error is refuted in accordance with the nature and manner of the error. If it is not public, then he is refuted and advised privately. If it is public, then the origin is that it is refuted publicly. However, if advised privately, then this is something good and commendable. But if that person persists, becomes rigid and arrogant, and seeks false validations and arguments to defend his errors, then he is warned against in order to prevent people from following him in his error and misguidance. And this is a legislative obligation upon the scholars, students, and callers alike. There is no escape from this. Thirdly: There have been many individuals who ascribed themselves to the Sunnah, in both distant and recent history, who had decades of service to the Daʿwah, through authorship, articles, sermons, lectures, and other than that. Yet when they deviated, persisted, and even attacked those who refuted their errors as sincere advice to them and the Ummah, they left no honour for themselves. We have not too distant examples of this, such as Ibn Hādī, Al-Ḥalabī, Ibn Jibrīn, and others. Fourthly: As for the claim that the translation presented to the S͟hayk͟h was incorrect, then this is also a baseless assertion. Amjad's speech, both written and spoken, is clear for all to hear, and those who know English as their first or second language have heard it and found that the translation presented is correct. One may argue over the choice of words or expressions, which is commonplace in translation, but that would merely be argumentation for its own sake, nothing more. Unless this claimant can come forward and identify exactly where the mistranslation exists, he is merely presenting futile excuses. And anyone who has heard this claimant speak, knows that his own English is weak. He is not a native speaker, and his language is weak even by the standards of second-language speakers. So it is ironic that he lays claim in a sphere where he does not belong. Continued…

[السكوت للأحمق جواب] قال الإمام سليمان بن مهران الأعمش رحمه الله: السكوت للأحمق جواب. قال ابن حبان في روضة العقلاء ٢٩٦: (إذا امتحن المرء بعشرة الأحمق كان الواجب عَلَيْهِ اللزوم لأخلاق نفسه والمباينة لأخلاقه مع الإكثار من الحمدلله على مَا وهب له من الانتباه لما حرم غيره التوفيق له).

Don't Let ❝i've Been in The Daʿwah for Thirty Years!❞ Betray You (Again!) Ibn Taymiyyah (raḥimahullāh) said,  ❝A person could be from amongst the most intelligent of scholars and the sharpest in scrutiny, but Allāh can blind him to the most apparent of affairs. While a person could be from amongst the most dimwitted of people and the weakest in scrutiny, but Allāh can grant him guidance with His permission towards the truth in that which has been differed over. So there is no might or power except with Allāh. Therefore, whoever relies only upon his ability of scrutiny, reasoning, intelligence and comprehension will be dismayed.❞ Source: Darʾ Taʿārud (9/43) Translation: Zubayr ʿAbbāsī

Defence of S͟hayk͟h @SaalimBamehriz for S͟hayk͟h @Arafatbinhassan Al-Muḥammadī and His Students (ḥafiẓahumullāh) S͟hayk͟h Sālim Bāmiḥraz (ḥafiẓahullāh) was asked: In the name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise belongs to Allāh, Lord of the worlds. And may prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muḥammad, and upon his family and all his companions. To proceed. Question: I have received this brief message from a dear brother. In his blessed message he says: Is it possible (for you) to record an audio (message) regarding those who say about S͟hayk͟h ʿArafāt, meaning ʿArafāt Al-Muḥammadī (may Allāh preserve him and take care of him), and his students in Switzerland, that they are upon the way of the Ḥaddādīs? Answer: May Allāh bless you. Whoever does not give the scholars their due respect and does not place them in the ranks by which they are known for goodness, but instead is bold against them and speaks about them, then this is an ignorant man. He has not known the status of the scholars, nor does he know who he himself is or what he is, such that he speaks about the noble Mas͟hāyik͟h who have long been known, and whom the scholars and Mas͟hāyik͟h around them have praised. S͟hayk͟h ʿArafāt (ḥafiẓahullāh) and his students as well, wherever they may be, from those whom he met in the Kingdom, in Madinah or in Switzerland, and those who seek knowledge through the S͟hayk͟h and remain in contact with him, they are upon great goodness. As for those who are in confusion, from the Ḥaddādiyyah and others, their speech carries no weight. Rather it is a proof against them. If they do not correct their manner and apologise to the S͟hayk͟h for what they have said, then by Allāh they are in great danger. We ask Allāh for safety and wellbeing. With this we say: fear Allāh regarding these Mas͟hāyik͟h who have long been known and whom the senior scholars have praised. May Allāh grant success to all in that which He loves and is pleased with. الله المستعان To add to that I also had contacted Abu iyaad regarding his tawbahs and retractions he had made in 2021 regarding Covid and encroaching the scholars and rulers noticing that his writings after that had contradicted these tawbahs and this was his response he basically says about his own retraction and tawbah that he had “ I actually defended himself and my position but you would not recognise it unless I told you “ So I was astonished about his deceitful ploys and he had continued this approach of making fake tawbah and retraction’s later on . So I have lost trust for him ! May Allah guide him Ameen
