For a loooong time I've been dealing with chronic post nasal drip, and never made a connection to it but I also had heartburn, thanks to a tweet from @codemiko , I gave over the counter reflux meds a go and it helped 🥲 but was also warned taking them long term isn't good. Months later talking to my friend I realized the issues I have are symptoms of either GERD or LPR..... Took me a few years but I finally realized what the fug might be wrong with me D:< I can't believe it didn't click that might be the issue when my post nasal drip got better with reflux meds. Better late than never I guess :> This is a friendly reminder to all of you out there, see a gastroenterologist if you have post nasal drip struggle or persistent tummy issues. I've been coughing every minute for years because of post nasal drip and the acid that came up, and I might finally figure out why and get actual help!! Very excited!! For now I've been prescribed PPI, my doctor wants to see how I do with the medication and do an endoscopy if we get results to confirm 🥲🩷Will update on how it goes :3
