if you wanna get over it without hassle call in sick, immediately go to pharmacy, buy all the vitamin C drops (you toss in water and drink) and then pastilles that are extra strong so you cough as little as possible to have least amount of irritation, immediately find a place you can order hot af chicken soup from (or make it yourself, it must have real chicken broth and chicken pieces in it and buy a lot of lemons) squeeze quarter to half a lemon in each soup cup and salt to taste to balance the acidity, shove it down your throat regardless of appetite before you lose the ability to swallow. if you wanna go the extra mile wrap scarf around throat at all times and keep warm and in bed resting, remember to leave bed 1 hour a day stretching and doing squats and exercising, don't be exposed to wind, don't go out with poor immune system it'll be worse. good luck
