@Ogaflow @kirawontmiss Seriously? This is not child abuse! He slammed a living thing into the ground , but it's abuse to throw an inanimate object on the ground? The kitten was apparently injured so bad it can't walk or eat, but you are worried about destroying a game? Give your head a shake.

The first slam was fine. An eye for an eye. I highly doubt the kid slammed this cat multiple times...... But forcing this kid to literally destroy his console and filming it for content is way over the line and honestly should come with a CPS call and some jail time for child abuse.

A mother is going punished her son by making him slam his PS5 the same way he had slammed her pet cat. Is this justified?🤔

@FoodProfessor What is so different than the nutritional information we have had for years? I don't let things like a label influence me. We have all the information we need at our fingertips. But if once a year I want to buy a box of cookies, I'm going to ! Do I know they have sugar? Yep!

"More than 3 in 4 Canadians admit that these new Health Canada logos are influencing their behaviour, and nearly half (48%) say they are less likely to buy a product displaying the label. I know many don’t like them or don’t see the point, but they are working. It’s good policy."

@lady_valor_07 Each person should have tipped on their portion of the bill. If your group was broken down into smaller tables, she would have got more in tips. I don't see the difference. Why did you think it was ok to give such a small tip? I'd like to know the rationale behind your choice

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic. ~Lea Robertson

A flight turned tense after a disagreement between two passengers over an extra seat. According to the account shared online, a plus-size traveler had intentionally purchased two seats for the flight. She explained that she wanted enough space to sit comfortably and avoid making other passengers uncomfortable during the journey. But during boarding, the situation quickly changed. A mother traveling with a toddler approached the woman and asked if the child could use the empty seat next to her. The traveler declined, explaining that she had paid for the seat specifically for extra space. The conversation escalated. The mother reportedly complained to a flight attendant, arguing that the seat could be used by her child instead. The passenger then showed both of her boarding passes, proving she had purchased and reserved the extra seat. In the end, the airline allowed the woman to keep the seat she paid for. The toddler was expected to sit on the parent’s lap, which is a common arrangement permitted for very young children on flights. Despite the resolution, the woman later said she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the flight, claiming she received disapproving looks and passive-aggressive comments from other passengers. When the story spread online, it sparked debate. Some people argued that since she paid for the seat, she had every right to keep it. Others believed she should have given it up for the child. The moment turned into another viral discussion about airline etiquette, personal space, and whether paying for something automatically settles the debate.

@LeonKelem @iluminatibot May not be Canadian banking policy, but it happens . I had the same thing happen over 20 years ago. Was buying a used vehicle, and was grilled wanting to know what it was for. I told them it's my money and I don't need their permission or approval

Quebec is moving ahead with plans to recognize “fromage en grains du Québec” (cheese curds) as a controlled designation. If adopted, the milk would have to come from Quebec and the curds made there too. If you're outside Quebec, you’re basically out of luck. Need to call it something else.

Healthcare in Canada in a nutshell: - patient of mine has severe uterine fibroids causing significant bleeding, needs surgery, gynecologist agrees but can’t get her an OR slot - has had to visit the ER a half dozen times, for blood and iron transfusions, now has a hematologist as well Instead of opening OR time the ON government restricts OR use, which leads to massive costs and disability. Fixing a problem immediately saves taxpayers money. Delaying care costs the system and patient immensely. A $1500 surgery to fix this will now cost $10-15k due to delays. Only a fully public system is so myopic that they cannot understand the utility in fixing issues as they arise. In their goal to minimize OR costs they push extra costs and wait times everywhere else in the system. #ONhealth

@mverbora @gailorama Some? over 90% of Drs don't take women seriously, and have zero idea about how women differ from men on medical issues. We just get told to lose weight take an antidepressant, and shoved out the door. Meanwhile we have cancer, had a stroke or a heart attack, do better!

@ShahrarAli @HeadWarriorTWM Did you even listen to the video? Or read the captions if you have a disability and can't hear? Or is it just a compression issue? She assaulted him. She was verbally abusive. She said there was going to be a problem during the flight. You think any of that is acceptable?

🚨 Canada's Restaurant Reckoning Over 4,000 restaurants are projected to close this year, after 7,000 already shut down in 2025. Not because demand disappeared but because costs didn’t stop rising while consumers ran out of room. Food prices. Wages. Rent. Insurance. Margins are gone. 41% are operating at a loss or barely surviving, afraid to raise prices because customers are already stretched thin. Even long-standing, well-run diners say the pressure is constant. The ones that don’t own their buildings? Many won’t make it. Consumers aren’t “cutting back” by choice. They’re being forced to. Fewer meals out. Smaller orders. Cafes instead of restaurants.

@TonyLaneNV I'd much rather sit beside a dog than even have a child on a flight at all! It's a parent's job to teach their child, and this includes proper introduction to animals.

Apparently this child started crying because there was a dog on the plane. Service animals are legally allowed to fly - and this happens more often than people realize. So what’s the right move here? Should the parent prepare the child better? Should flight staff step in to help calm the situation? Or is this just something passengers need to adjust to? What would you do in this situation? ⬇️ 🇺🇸

@RTNToronto @Cdhd123 After the first heavy snowfall of the year, it takes them some extra time to get things rolling. This isn't new. It's just what happens when machinery sits for 8 months. You can only do so much prep on it. Something's gonna break an hour or two into regular operation.

This 75 year old who'd been blind since birth suddenly regained his sight after using DMSO to cure sinusitis. DMSO has been repeatedly shown to heal eye issues medicine still can't solve like blindness and macular degeneration along with eliminating floaters and cataracts by it's unique affinity for concentrating within the eye, restoring both blood flow and drainage, rapidly eliminating inflammation, refolding the degenerative proteins which characterize many eye disorders so they can be eliminated and reviving damaged tissue so it can resume working—even after being dormant for 75 years. In fact, Murray's case is not unique, and as I show in the article below, many similar ones were documented but then essentially forgotten, as were the myriad of other challenging eye conditions which rapidly disappeared following DMSO use, and still remain "incurable" fifty years later.🧵
