The Liberal Party spent 10 years importing voters. Today those voters showed up. And voted against the Liberal they were supposed to support. Federal MP Nate Erskine-Smith, endorsed by Mark Carney himself, just lost a provincial nomination race in Scarborough. He lost to Ahsanul Hafiz. A Bangladeshi-born business owner who owns 30 Domino’s Pizza franchises. Today in Scarborough Southwest: Sample ballots were handed out entirely in Bengali. The Ontario Liberal Party allows temporary residents to vote in nominations. Nate knocked on doors of his own “members” people who had no idea they’d signed up. The Globe and Mail reported it themselves. Nate cried irregularities. Hafiz said: “The hallways were full of people wearing my badges. That’s the clear evidence of who won.” The Liberals flooded ridings with new Canadians. Those new Canadians just picked their own guy. The man who built the machine is now complaining about the machine. Welcome to the Canada you created. 🇨🇦

@erinotoole @RealMattA_ I had to be in an “education” session at work because I had doubts about the vaxx. Initially, I was even considering taking it but nothing made sense to me, it was rushed through & none of my questions were answered! But govt. coercion & threats made me even more suspicious!

@RealMattA_ What is sad is that too many people have an incorrect or biased view of what happened. We opposed the vaccine mandate & I raised Charter concerns. I was however encouraging people to get vaccinated. I still do. Most loud voices are more about anti-vax views than govt overreach.

You know what's really sad, Erin? It's s that political leaders would violate the Charter, due to fear, then find out it was an overreach, but never apologize. The reason some of us keep talking about it is because it will happen, again. You are a prime example of that.

@RealMattA_ It is quite sad how fear and anger during the pandemic changed many people. My concern with social media is that the algorithm never lets them escape that fear and anger even years later.

@RodAVanier Depends what your understanding of “accomplished” is. If you mean driving away investments, driving up unemployment, poverty, the federal budget and inflation, Carney did a marvellous job in his first year!

@RodAVanier Sure, you do know that our government could make it more enticing for businesses to come! Instead, their agenda is killing everything & driving up costs so industry is leaving Canada in record #s because it’s cheaper elsewhere! But in true Liberal fashion, let’s find a scapegoat!

CTV with their weekly anti-American rhetoric. They now claim 8 out of 10 Canadians are boycotting the U.S. & still support the alcohol ban. 80% of Canadians? Really? These organizations have no shame in continuing this psychological abuse. How come they don’t poll people on how they feel the Government is doing towards trade talks? I guess the media has to keep people’s elbows up while they lose their jobs.

Rob Carrick, a columnist for the Globe and Mail, supports the idea of opening government-owned grocery stores on the premise that “we’ve tried everything else and it didn’t work.” Well, have we? Interprovincial trade barriers are still there. Supply management is still there. The industrial carbon tax is still there. Our poor logistics are still there. Retail price distortions are still there. The overwhelming red tape is still there. Tried everything? Not quite. theglobeandmail.com/investing/pers…

@Skylar13_1989 Why don’t we get rid of the opposition all together? No accountability, no democracy - that’s what you’re asking for! Liberals are aiming for a totalitarian, authoritarian dictatorship! We basically have it now anyways, so let’s just stop pretending that we are still a democracy!

@guyfelicella When are you Liberals going to focus on the people in power (government) instead of constantly attacking the opposition! You are the biggest threat to our democracy! Did you even register that there were Liberal MPs & staff that left their party? Why aren’t you questioning them?

@userbot77728 @DEGM1964 @ShannonStubbsMP What “scientific” evidence? Covid measures were highly politicized! If doctors were cancelled, threatened and labeled to shut them up if they wanted to honestly report on their observations then what is the real scientific evidence? If only what fit the narrative was allowed?

Thank you. Your right Angie The very definition of science is to recognize the empirical evidence. And unlike those that ignore it six years after the fact are indeed those who are the anti-science people that got us into this mess to begin with. The Federal Court ruled the Liberals’ use of the Emergencies Act was unlawful and unreasonable. Now the Liberals refuse to take responsibility and appeal to the Supreme Court, so taxpayers to cover the cost. The Liberals froze bank accounts, trampled peaceful protesters, and violated Charter rights. Conservatives stood against the Emergencies Act from day one, because rights either apply to every Canadian - or they mean very little at all.

@ClaudeLavigne12 If Liberals would spend as much time on holding their government to account as they do with the opposition, Canada would prosper and be in a much better place! So, when are you going to start?

It’s really sad that PM Carney has to come out and reply to this fear mongering conservative bullshit. Parliament must pass a bill that requires every MP to have top secret security clearance. Half of Pierre’s caucus wouldn’t be able to pass it. Including Pierre.
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

How does an IRGC regime official get through any Canadian security checks? Did the Carney Liberals grant a temporary residency permit and override Canadian immigration officials? Not a single IRGC regime official should be allowed on Canadian soil. Canadians deserve answers now.

@CanadianCoffey No, parliament cannot pass a bill to dictate the Trudeau introduced NSICOP clearance! This already led to an erosion of trust with their secrecy and non transparency! It’s a direct attack on democracy!

🚨ANOTHER LIBERAL DROPS🚨 Another Liberal has stepped away from Carney’s government. Different reason, same result: instability at the top. The question now isn’t if there’s division… it’s how deep it goes.
