The only reason Count Binface became such a big story is because the other parties bottled it and refused to stand against Nigel Farage.
Had Labour, the Conservatives, the Lib Dems and the Greens actually fielded candidates, Binface would have been exactly what he was always meant to be: a funny sideshow.
The real losers are the people of Clacton, who've been denied the chance to vote for the party they actually support.
