If it takes 1.5 years to migrate bitcoin code, miners, pools, wallets and utilities to a new address scheme then we are already late to begin the work in earnest. Add in a double block size for a faster migration and maybe we can migrate most of the wallets in 9 months with no downtime to Bitcoin. That's cutting the wire extremely close. Why wait another 2 years before deploying quantum safe algorithms? Maybe I'm completely off and the 5% risk starts in 2029 and then grows to 30% in 2030. If I am completely off on risk, then we would complete the gentle 2 year migration in 2029 assuming we start now. Am I completely off in timelines?

All in all, long journey for me. And that journey will continue...

And don't forget the masternodes! Wrote a plugin specifically for masternodes for users who want an easy way for viewing their node stats. And it's awesome! I currently also maintain Arch Linux packages for dashboard, node, and #KelVPN.

I also wrote several articles about #Cellframe, some patches for node and Dashboard (maybe even wallet too can't remember), debugged node so hard I'm sure that my backtraces and asan reports have played a massive role in how stable the current node version is today!

I knew #Cellframe node had support for Python plugins but you had to manually edit configuration files. Didn't like it, so wrote my first patch to the Debian postinstall script to allow user to enable them on installation.

Back then, I still had one Raspberry Pi 3 so decided to compile and test the software. Surely it was a bit rough on the edges back then, but it still worked perfectly.
