Yes AI is great but Opus 4.7 just charged me $55 (via API) for just scanning my Outlook mailbox from last 3 weeks and summarizing my git contributions. I need a better alternative.

@austnstuff Opus did the job extremely well but then I tried something else of the same complexity level with Gemini 2.5 Pro and it was such a loser, could not even find the installed MCP server and I had to tell it explicitly.
My question is which model can be as intelligent as Opus?

@AngularPK using opus for scanning mailbox is likely way overkill, even haiku but especially sonnet would be more than enough for this!

@JohnnyNel_ but hermes needs an LLM to perform things, and I only have Claude Code subscription. How can I use it inside hermes to do everything from coding to planning and talking through Discord
