It’s an important question. When will children being taught in a stranger’s home get the same protection as they do in the classroom? A DBS check is not full proof, but should it be a minimum requirement for private tutors? Our follow up report. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

There’s more than 100.000 private tutors in the UK. But there’s no legal obligation on them to undergo any background checks. When will children taught in the home get the same protection as they do in the classroom? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
