A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING! Baroness Hollins (@BaronessHollins) warns there is a serious lack of understanding about how people with learning disabilities perceive assisted suicide. She warns that when raised by a medic, it may be interpreted as a recommendation, not an option.

The sky was full of trails on the first sunny day, and while they deny geoengineering, the government refuses to legislate protections. If they claim they never do it, why not lock in safeguards? I don't believe @UKLabour. We must push for laws that protect our skies. If, through a proper trial, evidence proves that geoengineering has been taking place, those responsible should go to prison, FOR LIFE.

Mr Reed also implies that we successfully defended Diego Garcia from Iranian missile attack. Untrue. Let’s set the record straight: One Iranian ballistic missile failed in flight — malfunctioned mid-flight or broke up on re-entry. Either way it never reached the target area. The other was engaged/intercepted by a U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer nearby, which fired an SM-3 interceptor at it and destroyed it. UK forces played no part in the defence of Diego Garcia. Nor do they have the capability to do so. Mr Reed says UK won’t be dragged into the US’s War. Fair enough. But he’s happy for the US to defend what is a British base — and didn’t even thank them for it.
