this is a separate thing
real time is not really possible except in very narrow cases
but if you want "takes a game action every 30s" Lux Computer Use often can pull it off
we wrapped it in a CLI that takes screenshots on VM, sends to our backend, computes actions, sends back to VM for execution
even like dragging, scrolling, moving camera sometimes

we're the only ones who've even tried 60fps desktop streaming of cloud agents computers (for UI/game testing)
we spent 2 months iterating on this, forking a 200k LoC C++ codebase (moonlight / sunshine) to make it usable on the web
we even played minecraft on the VM
any Ascii agent comes with a gaming grade desktop streaming iframe (still not the most stable thing ever but if you refresh a couple times it works)
but for the price users pay we can't give a good enough VM for sustained 60fps, especially in game
should we make a paid addon to 1-click upgrade agents into a beefier VM with GPU and all?

I’m extremely disappointed by the VNCs provided by all the sandbox providers I have tried. Any way to get 60fps? Anything less than that is barely usable. Gimme that gaming grade streaming pls

@michael_chomsky ascii.dev has it in theory (we forked moonlight which is gaming grade)
but VMs need to have a GPU or be bare metal idk to really break 45fps it feels

yeah pretty sure about this too
but we might start seeing the rise of professional, at-scale use of platforms that let you build shit without ever thinking or linking to github
github might not be replaced or disolve into a few github alternatives but it might disolve into a few big building platforms

that's why we don't sell tokens
a well funded early stage startup's n°1 priority is to find PMF imo
not get quick revenue
when you get tokens selling revenue people often aren't buying your product, they're buying your subsidy or your distribution of tokens
happy to say some users pay us $200 per month in self serve but have to bring their own tokens
we don't even subsidize the compute (that's another trap)
that means they've found value in our unique UX, design and systems, what could let us win in the end
maybe stupidly letting 1M ARR on the table just to be clean idk, seems right to me
winning requires to be right in the end not at the beginning

Why do people write tweets like this? Where every sentence gets a new line. Sometimes a line might have two sentences. Like this one. But generally speaking, every sentence has a new line, making a tweet look like a long block of text that no one reads. Worse still, such tweets are often repetitive and winding, hammering on the same point over and over again. The writing is often very bad.

I was surprised to learn this but you don't have to.
You can put good European-style bread into freezer and reheat it later. Either whole in the oven or if you sliced it - in the toaster.
It is just as great if you froze it still fresh

Good bread doesn’t fit into the American way of life very well bc u have to eat it the day that it’s baked. You have to plan ur life around the bread. You have to develop recipes to deal with all the bread you couldn’t eat yesterday and eat as much of the fresh bread you bought today as possible

The idea that having kids kills productivity is pure cope.
I know founders with kids who outwork founders without kids.
I didn't want kids for a long time because I thought they'd take too much time from the company.
It turns out that you actually work better when you have kids.
I don't know exactly why, but the focus is sharper, time management is tighter, and the stakes are clearer 🤷♂️
