ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി വീണാ ജോർജിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ കേരളത്തിലെ പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യം വൻ തകർച്ചയിലേക്കാണ് നീങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഓരോ ദിവസവും പുറത്തുവരുന്നത് ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അനാസ്ഥയുടെയും അഴിമതിയുടെയും വാർത്തകളാണ്. എന്നാൽ ഈ വീഴ്ചകൾക്ക് ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏൽക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം മാധ്യമങ്ങളോടും പ്രതിപക്ഷത്തോടും തട്ടിക്കയറുന്ന മന്ത്രിയുടെ രീതി ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന് ഒട്ടും യോജിച്ചതല്ല. ശ്രീമതി.വീണാ ജോർജ്, താങ്കളുടെ വകുപ്പിന്റെ 'കാര്യക്ഷമത' കൊണ്ട് ജീവൻ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ വീട്ടിൽ പോയി മുതലക്കണ്ണീർ ഒഴുക്കുന്നതിലല്ല കാര്യം. ജനങ്ങളുടെ ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം നിറവേറ്റുന്നതിലാണ്. അധികാരമേറ്റത് മുതൽ പബ്ലിക് റിലേഷൻസ് (PR) വർക്കിന് നൽകുന്ന പ്രാധാന്യം ജനങ്ങളുടെ ആരോഗ്യ സുരക്ഷയ്ക്ക് നൽകിയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഈ ദുരന്തങ്ങൾ ഒഴിവാക്കാമായിരുന്നു. മാധ്യമങ്ങളെയും പ്രതിപക്ഷത്തെയും കുറ്റം പറഞ്ഞ് രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാതെ, ഈ കൊടിയ വീഴ്ചകൾക്ക് ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്ത് മന്ത്രി പദവി രാജിവെക്കണമെന്നാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ സാധാരണക്കാരായ ജനങ്ങൾ താങ്കളോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. ജനം പറയുന്നു. കേരളത്തിന്റെ ആരോഗ്യമേഖല കുട്ടിച്ചോറാക്കിയവർ കടക്ക് പുറത്ത്!

Let me make it clear why Rahul is raising the 'vote chori' issue. It has nothing to do with Election Commission. It relates to his political survival. He wants to convey to his party that he is not responsible for repeated poll defeats and the party lost only because of 'vote chori'.
