@UnslothAI @NVIDIAAI @googlegemma Going to try & see how it fares on my 5060Ti with 16 GB VRAM this weekend.
English

We’re releasing Gemma 4 NVFP4 quants that run 1.5× faster on your GPU.
Gemma-4-12B NVFP4 works on 11GB VRAM.
26B-A4B hits 13K tok/s (B200).
Unsloth NVFP4 enables faster, more accurate 4-bit Blackwell inference.

Socially smart people often won’t tell you to your face when they disagree with you because they can sense intuitively that you are too attached to the outcome of the interaction and that you couldn’t handle disagreement. So they will just agree with you… but then you might not hear from them again.
It’s easy to assume this is “fake” when really it’s just what intelligent people do to protect their energy. If you went around saying what you really thought all of the time you’d make way too many enemies, and get in way too many unproductive arguments (cortisol spikes = aging)
Of course the only way to make genuine connections is to say what you really think… but especially if you intend to be deeply involved in society, you must train your intuition to know who can take it.
English

one common trait I find in high achieving individuals is urgency. it looks almost like impatience until you understand it is closer to reverence, a deep refusal to waste the one thing they can’t buy more of. the alarm goes and they rise. the message is answered while it is still warm. the small task is done before it can find a shelf to hide on. they commit and move in a single motion. an idea sparks and they chase it that day, before the world talks them out of it. they run at their own lives like something is at stake, because they have decided something is.

@Anim8Studio @Sadie_Inward @Teslaconomics That 90% of people I pass represent the useless drivers who have little to no idea wtf they're doing and certainly could benefit from having FSD drive for them. Just like you I'd imagine
English

@dragosroua Are you saying my existing SuperGrok subscription will be leveraged if I use their API or just saying they are generous?
In other words, does my Grok API token use come from its own pool of separately paid tokens or does it consume those tokens first from Grok Chat tokens?
English

@Anim8Studio I think Super Grok Heavy is very, very generous. It depends on what work you do, but normally it should cover, let's say, a team of 2-3 senior engineers.
English

@GulledgeKurt @DillonLoomis Behind is such a relative term.
You may be ahead onendy and behind the next. It's an impossible assessment because you don't know what you don't know about your competitors until they release info, and even then they will cherry pick and selectively release just what they want.
English

@DillonLoomis I 100% guarantee they're not. Tesla wouldn't be building a billion-dollar factory in Texas right now if they were "behind."
English

Who thinks Tesla is behind with Optimus? I get the "we don't want our competitors to copy us" argument for demos, but couldn't Tesla just put some gloves and a shirt over Optimus and give us a quick update into what they have cooking? It's been QUIET out there from the Optimii
Fwiw I don't think Tesla's behind, I think part of it is optimizing differently and taking different paths to market. NEO is going teleoperator route to ship to customer homes for training. Tesla will likely do plenty of learning in the factories with initial deployment there. The list of differences goes on tbh
But the great news is 1X is an American-Norwegian company (main operations in America, founded in Norway) and the faster the market has options from American manufacturers, the better (some motors come from Norway). The main 1X factory currently is in Hayward, CA (~58k sq. ft. + 10k unit capacity/yr.) but a bigger location is set to come online in San Carlos later this year (~231k sq. ft. to hit 100k units/yr.)
Plus the VP of Operations is a former SpaceX employee (Vikram Kothari - he spent 8 years there and nearly a decade at Microsoft in hw supply chain leadership)

Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability. For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.

@AntiWokeMemes This is like the 1000th time I've seen a post with this same message.
Don't you guys get tired of posting the same thing?
Are you so desperate for engagement you just don't care?
I guess you've automated your posts and just keep recycling content so you really don't care
English

It's not pointless at all. Surely you can not that shortsighted?
It might be pointless for you Mr. Better than Average Driver with so much experience.
The fact you admit to passing 90% of the cars you see tells us a lot. YOU are part of the problem. Speeding is the number one cause of road fatalities.
As for winter, I live in the Northeast US and have had zero issues with sleet, ice and snow. FSD knows how to handle slips and slides which most drivers do not handle well and whom tend to overcorrect steering.
FSD has the collective experience of 10 billion miles. I'd wager that's considerably more than you. 😁
English

@Anim8Studio @Sadie_Inward @Teslaconomics It's safer than the average driver, sure, but for someone with over a million km of experience and who passes 90% of the cars I see, it's just pointless, nm the fact it doesn't work consistently in winter
English

@dragosroua Thank you for those instructions.
I already subscribe to SuperGrok Heavy.
Can I leverage that or must I pay a la carte pricing for API use on top of my subscription?
English

1. Get an OpenRouter API Key
• Go to openrouter.ai/settings/keys.
• Create a new key (starts with sk-or-v1-...). Add some credits if using paid models (Grok 4.5 has pricing around $2/M input, $6/M output).
2. Enable Developer Mode in Claude Desktop
• Open Claude Desktop.
• Go to Help → Troubleshooting → Enable Developer Mode (or similar; restart the app if prompted).
3. Configure Third-Party Inference
• Go to Developer → Configure Third-Party Inference (this menu appears after enabling Developer Mode).
• Set:
• Connection: Gateway (or Gateway / Anthropic-compatible).
• Gateway base URL: openrouter.ai/api
• Gateway API key: Your OpenRouter key (sk-or-v1-...).
• Gateway auth scheme: x-api-key (or bearer — test what works; x-api-key is commonly reported).
• In Sandbox & workspace, add allowed egress hosts (e.g., *.openrouter.ai, and any sites your agents need web access to).
• Click Apply locally (or export as .reg for persistence) and restart Claude Desktop.
English

@Barsky420 @Sadie_Inward @Teslaconomics Not pointless to many.
It safer than me driving because it sees better than me (especially at night), reacts faster than me, doesn't get tired like me, doesn't road rage like me, doesn't get distracted like me. It's my wing man.
You do you. For me, FSD even supervised is a boss
English

@Sadie_Inward @Teslaconomics I get that and I tried it out and found it to be utterly pointless 🤷♂️... If I have to supervise it, I might as well just drive myself 🤷♂️
English

@washghost1 I just saw three friends at an outdoor table chatting. Where was the perceived threat?
Here in NYC people of a million different combinations of colors, religions, ages, genders, political affiliations, sexual prefs, ableness are friends. Nobody bats an eyelash.
It's the norm.
English

This one took all kinds of turns. Guy approached the table to see if the guy was alright because he assumed he was sitting with two white people and the guy didn’t take kindly to it
Thendo Ralph@ThendoRalph
This escalated and deescalated so oddly.
English

@SawyerMerritt Who cares? Why we dont have grok in our cars in EU? Why my AMD car cant have B pillar sentry cam with hw3?
