As for Jake’s outfit, I darkened the colors a bit because he looks great in black, though I didn’t make it pure black. I also added his military dog tag and a camo ornament to his loincloth, as if he wanted to remember who he really is.

Lineart is done

I imagined the kuru as being made of a mechanically damage-resistant material. It contains glowing diodes indicating an active neural connection to the brain, but it is more sensitive than a natural kuru. It can also be extended, which allows it to be used as a whip-like weapon.

Some time ago, I posted a sketch depicting Varang cutting off Jake’s kuru, based on the idea of an artificial kuru as a prosthesis. #jakesully #avatar #Avatar3 #AvatarFireAndAsh #Varang #Quaritch
