Been getting an incredible amount of abuse from my own followers recently. Regrettably, a lot of it has been racist. Transfers change. Deals collapse. Circumstances evolve. I report the facts as they are when I receive them. If the situation changes afterwards, there’s very little anyone can do about that. That’s football. What I can add is that we don't have a LB that will bring out the best in Rogers as a LW, unless Palestra plays there. But that's exactly why we are in for Chavarría. He's perfect for that role. If he doesn't come, I think we will try for another LB with similar characteristics.

Re : Rogers I probably called him being very very good before anyone else on here. It took me only a single 90’ and whilst yes the player isn’t a 100m player he gives us something we haven’t had since Joao Felix. He’s not a technician in any way possible like a Joao but his technique + application of it might be more impactful in the big games which is why I feel he’s been bought. Takes the physicality up tenfolds + Xabi already feels he has enough passers ( Barco / Enzo / Moi / Palmer ) to make Rogers do one thing : - Disrupt opposition defences with your carrying / receiving.
