They spent 400 million dollars for a movie’s climax to be slaughtering humans wholesale in some of the most gruesome ways possible. But what really sucks is that there’s no alternative to James Cameron you can support. There’s no anti-Avatar movie franchise to go to instead.

@LewdNobu Don't even get me started on how filthy it sounds to even think "well I could pay this person to do a job, but instead I'm going to get their permission to use a free alternative". A very weird thing to rationalize in a world where hoarding money is actively killing people.

@LewdNobu Sure, I agree that this particular thing isn't the end of the world. It's about the idea of a slippery slope. Humans don't look into nuance. I'd love to believe that AI could be used for one ok thing and not another bad thing across every single company. That's not realistic

@AnkaEverlasting Because they did hire voice actors and used the AI to voice mundane stuff like the voice changer and you being able to ping every item in the game with a voiceline, and the actors consented to that, so there's no stealing happening. That's what I meant :o

@AnkaEverlasting Yeah I know, I mostly meant, that it still refused to show me arts from account that I follow even when refreshing the timeline multiple times and I need to check account most of the time, being showed content that don't interesting me rather than the people I follow is exausting

@SteamingShrimp Remember that an algorithm is programmed to perform a specific task. It doesn't just do it's own thing and go wacky or be weird. The twitter algorithm pushes content that it calculates would make the most money for twitter.
