If you don’t know what a person celebrates, say “Happy Holidays.” If you know that they celebrate Christmas, then say Merry Christmas. If you know that they celebrate Hanukkah, then say Happy Hanukkah. It really shouldn’t be this hard. Show respect to others if you want to be respected back.
