The expansions under the ACA weren’t much different than the Covid expansions that were supposed to be temporary, for non-elderly, non-disabled adults with lower incomes. Able bodied people who just didn’t work for long periods of time. The LFSCC and the LFPACA were also Covid era expansions that weren’t intended to be permanent. It also allowed able bodied younger people to not work and still get coverage.

Im thinking we should start adopting maga policies. Instead of trying to make the country better, progress forward, and make this a wonderful country for all to raise a family in. They pass them along if they can, but absorb them if they can’t if it makes the rent too high for the market. If you raise the rent to cover higher taxes but the units stay unrented for a month or two, you lower them. Same thing with commercial spaces. What’s a general tax? Fed or state income tax? Village tax? School tax? You’re gonna have to get more specific on those

Landlords magically absorb them, or pass them on to their tenants through rent increases or net leases? Enlighten me.

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold." So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house? I didn't sell it. I didn't cash out. I didn't make a profit. But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year. Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

How about being specific? What in the OBB did any of those things? Medicaid cuts were just to people who were still getting Covid era Medicaid but should’ve stopped when it ended. Able bodied people, non-citizens etc. What MAGA policy cut school lunches, childcare funding etc.? Be specific. Otherwise it’s just more meaningless generalities.
