Thanks @HelloFreshUK for tonight’s dinner. I’m getting a little tired of the same thing 2 weeks running. Last week the courier was at fault, & didn’t deliver. Today-marked as not despatched. But ‘reassured’ by your call centre that it would be still delivered…then cancelled

Had such a great (but very busy) week at the @AnimalWelfareRN meeting in Belfast. Feeling really motivated about research again, caught up with friends, & met lots of lovely new people
The saddest bump back to reality is that today nobody has brought me a warm raspberry scone!

First day back in the office after a couple of weeks out for the EAZA Animal Welfare conference, zoo visits and Easter break. So far I've found no cheese, no pizza, no Easter eggs and no wine. This is a suboptimal working environment 😂

Love the Behavioural methodology module that @DrElliephants & I teach at Harper. So many fun activities including preference testing gerbils & on Friday we learned radio tracking! It was very real tracking by the students as Ellen & I completely forgot where we put the collar 😂

Has anyone got automatic chicken door openers? There’s so many different brands & the price variability is huge! I’m happy to make the doors so just need the opener to make my parents lives easier but I need 34 😬 which is very costly. Anyone found a cheaper but reliable version?

@Binky_2301 @SkylarkHolly Canicross running with a dog in harness, they run out in front, it originated from dryland mushing. The other one is bikejor, same principle but on a mountain bike and faster!

@Binky_2301 @SkylarkHolly I’ve got a chicken guard which seems good. One occasion where it froze but Scotland and a very damp cold and well into the minuses in a very exposed field. Otherwise they seem pretty good. No complaints from the chickens!
