What an enlightening discussion at the Side Event on Addressing the Dynamics of Trafficking in Persons Belonging to Minorities. The conversation focused on the challenges faced by #Minority groups, who are disproportionately vulnerable to #humantrafficking. This #CTHB24 Side Event explored both the existing and possible mechanisms that could empower persons belonging to minorities to mitigate trafficking risks and enhance prevention.

OSCE for Gender Equality This year is the 2⃣0⃣th anniversary of the @OSCE Action Plan for the promotion of #genderequality. We continue the walk down memory lane to highlight some of the @osce_cthb work on #gender. 2⃣0⃣2⃣1⃣: @osce_cthb published Applying Gender-Sensitive Approaches in Combating Trafficking in Human Beings osce.org/cthb/486700, which aimed to deepen the understanding of gender-sensitive strategies in combating #HumanTrafficking and its importance across all response stages. By amplifying the voices of #survivors, along with views from anti-trafficking experts, service providers, and #LawEnforcement, we shed light on the gender aspects of #trafficking. Applying gender-sensitive approaches can contribute to achieving gender equality and #empoweringwomen and girls, as well as ending #abuse, #exploitation, trafficking, and all forms of violence against all persons.
