Starmer is not a perfect leader and I get frustrated by some of his cautiousness, but good lord look how far we have come since he took over as leader. I would never expected us to be on the path to government so soon after such a terrible defeat.

Whether the academy could’ve accommodated their needs is a moot point.
There was an ambition to be ‘outstanding’ & impediments to that weren’t tolerated.

With my massive following of 55 I'm not sure this announcement is going to be a success, but it's worth a try. On Tuesday we start a 19 day charity cycle around England and Wales to raise funds for @PAPYRUS_Charity . We lost our son to suicide in 2013 at the age of 17.

@MichaelRosenYes As a head of year I was once asked by a well known academy chain school head to arrange for the ‘alternative provision’ of 10 pupils (at a cost of £100k). It was considered a pragmatic move at the time.
