Have you seen Charles Akinde? The 37-year-old is wanted in connection with an investigation into controlling and coercive behaviour, non-fatal strangulation, criminal damage, assault and animal cruelty. Officers have been making enquiries to locate him over the last month, after matters were reported on 15 February, this has included the arrest team attending addresses connected to him and visiting his acquaintances to try and find him. Akinde has links to both Southampton, where the reported incident occurred, and London, having lived in the Peckham area. Police have released an image of a man they are seeking on suspicion of making threats to kill in the West Midlands.  Mohammed Khan is from Warwickshire. Khan, 39, has links to Stratford in Warwickshire. He is wanted on suspicion of making threats to kill in Smethwick. Anyone who sees Khan is urged to contact West Midlands Police.

Olly has finished his meds 4 internal parasites however, his scabby nose due to mange is taking time to heal. Mange is caused by mites burrowing under the skin, thickening it&causing intense itching.His nose is creamed daily to ease his itching.Oh he’s just the perfect patient🥰

This weekend brought us a tiny sign of the season… our first ducklings of the year🐥 With the first found alone beside a road with no sign of mum or siblings, the little one was lucky to have been spotted and brought to safety. The second arrived yesterday having sadly been abandoned by mum🥺. Now both safe, warm, and receiving the care they need with our team, it will be a few weeks before they're ready for life in the wild. Every spring, we see many vulnerable youngsters just like this, and over the Easter holidays we expect to have a rise in admissions as more people are out and about. If you do come across a young wild animal, please don’t hesitate to get in touch for advice before intervening 💚 For now, these tiny fluffballs are settling in nicely… and we’ll keep you updated on their progress! #ValeWildlifeHospital #WildlifeHospital #WildlifeRescue
