Luke has been a Queensland Fire and Rescue swiftwater technician for almost 15 years. Floodwater can be incredibly deceptive, with many hidden dangers under the surface. Severe storms, flooding and cyclones are an increased risk in the warmer months. Don’t get caught out, make sure you have a plan. Never enter floodwaters, it isn’t worth the risk.
