@DoctorWhoWorld_ Listen. It has some interesting ideas but there's basically no plot. It also makes Danny a much less interesting character and heightens Clara's importance to the Doctor's origins to an unnecessarily astronomical degree

I still attest that 'Space Babies' is an okay episode. It's just fine. But as a *Season Opener*? Really bad move. 'Doctor Who' can do weird, zany stuff but I don't think you should open with it during a worldwide relaunch. Opening Season 1 with 'Boom'? That's the smarter play.

Christ, rewatching Space Babies it was like they were on a mission to sabotage any chance of success Doctor Who would have had with Disney

@TrilbeeReviews Still baffles me that you put this at number 1 in your "top five live-action action scenes of 2011" video from 2012 and tried to justify it by saying the use of motion capture alone was what made it count as live action

@CrispeeePro Each chapter featured a puzzle game sandwiched between the live action segments. The wesbite it was hosted on has since gone offline and there's no footage of the game on YouTube, but is still has a TARDIS Wiki article: tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Memory_Ma… (2/2)

@CrispeeePro During the airing of The Sarah Jane Adventures series 2, there was a game on the show's official website that played out in twelve weekly chapters which featured filmed segments about Clyde in a mysterious empty hospital. (1/2)

@CrispeeePro Whatever this game was meant to be which we only ever heard of through a news article on the Doctor Who website in 2009 and wasn't mentioned anywhere else across the entire internet since.

Oh come on. It's so sad how the era ended, and that we didn't see the story as intended... ...but isn't Wish World/The Reality War a genuinely amazing finale? 😍 It feels like an unintentionally great conclusion to 15's era. The Rani is EPIC, and there's so much to enjoy 🙌💙💙

@TrilbeeReviews The demand for Stephen Graham is too high rn for him to fully commit to a show like Doctor Who

Genuine question from someone who has watched 'Doctor Who' for over 20 years; I never got the criticism of "The Timeless Child" revelation that it ruins the show because the "point/message" of DW was that "you can be the Doctor". When has that ever been the message of DW?

@TrilbeeReviews TLDR: They put "make everything look expensive" first, story second. It's why I fell off Star Trek: Discovery after the episode where they show what the Federation looks like in the 32nd century. Flashy for the sake of looking flashy, and not somewhere I could see myself living

@TrilbeeReviews I'm convinced it was done this way solely because they were so committed to making the show look expensive that they decided to make sure as much of the sets could be shown on screen as possible so they wouldn't feel as though their money would've gone to waste.

Speaking relatively and in the context of the time in which they were produced I've got to go with TDMP. The VFX in modern-Who are obviously better, but Douglas Camfield's direction feels so dynamic with an emphasis on the actors so the audience can better connect with them.

You can tell a lot about the state of an economy by the advertising. In cinemas it's 90% military recruitment. On TV it's 90% supermarkets and gambling. People in the UK are so poor that adverts can only sell the bare essentials or a supposed way out of poverty.
Here's What I Reckon:@angryaboutbikes

Average UK pre-cinema ad roll now is like: - Hey, wanna join the navy? - Hey, wanna join the army? - Oh, you're too good for the navy? Good luck leaving your shithole hometown. - Hey, please be a teacher? - Hey, wanna foster a kid?

@TrilbeeReviews RTD is evil Steven Moffat. One's great at arcs, the other at standalone episodes, both terrible at the opposite, and neither will accept the supervision they desperately need.
